Oréll is pleased to
announce the details of its participation at the 10th Asia TEFL
International Conference, which held from October 4 to 6, 2012 at Leela
Kempinski, Gurgaon (Delhi, NCR) in India.
The theme of the conference
was “Expanding Horizons of Language and Communication: ELT Issues, Challenges
and Implications”.
Oréll was represented
at the conference by Jacob Philip, the company Vice President, Titto Sunny,
Area Manager (North India) and Paul Joy, our Marketing Executive. The forum created
an opportunity for Oréll delegates to interact in a congenial atmosphere with
the members and audience of Asia TEFL regarding the English language teaching issues,
challenges and implications. Besides, the associate sponsorship of Oréll
for the conference gave a chance to associate our organization with Asia TEFL
in achieving their goals in the education field.
Team Oréll has
conducted demonstrations on our digital language lab product, ODLL that helps
to give teaching and learning a new life. Audience from different parts of the
world visited Oréll’s product exhibition stall and showed interest in our language
learning products.
With stalls,
demonstrations, discussions, and other activities, the TEFL conference had
something for everyone and was a great way for people to support and promote the teaching and learning of English
in Asia.
Asia TEFL is aimed to promote scholarship, disseminate information, and
facilitate cross-cultural understanding among persons concerned with the
teaching and learning of English in Asia. As English is being taught in an EFL
(English as a Foreign Language) context in most of the countries in Asia, an
international organization for the Asian region has been sought by ELT (English
Language Teaching) professionals in Asia. The purpose of Asia TEFL is to fill
this need.
