ODLL Installed at Maharajas College, Ernakulam

Oréll is really proud to announce its successful implementation of ODLL (Oréll Digital Language Lab) at Maharajas College, the educational and cultural wealth of Kerala, on October 5, 2012.

The college opted for the standard edition of ODLL with one plus twenty consoles and the installation was done by Aneesh Murali, the Area Manager of Oréll (Cochin). Dr. Vijayamohan, Head of the English Department of the college contacted Oréll coordinators and signed the contract on behalf of the institution. The computer lab of the institution was ready for installation and the whole process was completed successfully. The post-installation training session for college staff to familiarize them with the functioning of ODLL was conducted in the ensuing days.

Maharajas College located in the heart of Cochin city, is one among the best educational institutions in India. Started in 1875 by the then Maharaja of Kochi, the college was all through a throbbing witness and an active participant in the socio-cultural and historical evolution of the entire state of Kerala. It is a special grade college affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and placed under Section 2(f) by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council in 1999 at the level of three Stars.

The ODLL implemented at Maharajas College will support technology-enhanced learning and teaching environments for second-language acquisition and in the study of foreign languages, literatures and cultures.  Apart form the subject knowledge, they will get a comfortable learning platform to improve their communicative proficiency, interactive capabilities and confidence to a lofty level.
