Oréll Language Lab Implemented at Government Sanskrit College



Government Sanskrit College, Thriuvananthapuram finds its place among the prestigious clients of Oréll Digital Language Lab (ODLL). 

ODLL, the digital language lab of Oréll has been implemented at Government Sanskrit College, Thriuvananthapuram on January 11, 2013. ODLL premium edition set with one plus ten consoles was implemented at the college and it was done by Mr. Sagar K, the technical executive of Oréll.

Oréll Digital Language Lab is one of the most sought-after language labs in digital language laboratory world. The user-friendly features of ODLL make it highly appealing to language teachers and learning institutions around the globe. With the implementation of ODLL at Government Sanskrit College, language learning will become easier for both students and instructors of the institution.

Government Sanskrit College, the oldest of its kind in Kerala, was founded in 1889 by His Highness Sree MoolamThirunal Rama Varma, one of the most renowned rulers of the State of Travancore, on the model of the Benares Sanskrit College with title courses in Sanskrit. In 1936 the college was affiliated to the University of Madras and subsequently to the Tranvancore University. In 1948 the courses of study were reorganised and the college was raised to a first Grade Degree college. The college now imparts instruction mainly in Sanskrit Sastras. B.A. courses in Nyaya Vayakarana, Sahitya, Vedanta and Jyothisha and M.A. courses in the above disciplines and Ph.D programmes are conducted in this college.
